Occupational Therapy Alumni Reunion


This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Occupational Therapy profession.  Midwestern University is also recognizing an important milestone in 2017 - 20 years of graduating classes from the Occupational Therapy Program.  Alumni from all 20 classes are invited to celebrate and to share with each other all of the wonderful life events that have occurred since graduation.

Alumnus of the Year Award

The inaugural OT Alumnus of the Year Award will also be presented during the evening. This award recognizes an alumnus who has made significant contributions to the profession of occupational therapy through practice, education, leadership, or service.  Contributions may include: promotion of best practice through the use of client-centered, occupation-based, and evidence-based intervention; excellence in educating future occupational therapy practitioners through didactic or fieldwork education; commitment to leadership in organizations that promote occupational therapy or serve occupational therapy clients; and dedication to serving populations who may otherwise not have access to occupational therapy services. The recipient is one who has worked to promote the presence and reputation of Midwestern University and has brought credit to the College of Health Sciences Occupational Therapy Program.
