Licensure

From 2011 (the program's first graduating class) to 2013, all 20 program graduates have become licensed. Licensure requirements and standards for professional practice vary from state to state, and prospective students are urged to examine the requirements of the specific state in which they plan to practice. Typically, most states require at least one year of post-doctoral training to be eligible to apply for licensure.  It is further difficult to assess the precise number of graduates who have become licensed, as they are no mandated to report their licensure to the University. The Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards, http://www.asppb.org/, can provide useful information on this issue.
