More About the Program

The Speech-Language Pathology Program at Midwestern University matriculated its inaugural class in the Fall of 2013. Students benefit from an enthusiastic faculty dedicated to the professional development of the next generation of speech-language pathologists, in addition to new academic and clinical facilities. Classrooms and laboratories incorporate the latest teaching technologies, including the use of virtual clinical cases, standardized patient encounters, iPads, and more.  Students will complete initial practica in the new MWU Multispecialty Clinic in Downers Grove. This facility features state-of-the-art instrumentation, research laboraties, and clinical treatement facilities in one location to optimize student learning and client outcomes. Graduates of the MWU Speech-Language Pathology Program will be prepared to launch dynamic careers in their choice of healthcare or educational arenas.
