CDMA Students, Faculty Host "Give Kids a Smile" Event
On Saturday, April 21, Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine-Arizona and the Midwestern University Dental Institute hosted Give Kids a Smile, a community event where CDMA students, supervised by faculty practitioners, provided dental care for local kids and education for their families at no cost.

Andrew C. Yorgason, D.O.
Dr. Yorgason enjoys balancing his part-time appointment as clinical assistant professor with professional consulting and direct clinical work through Milchad Occupational Medicine Consulting, LLC. He has been teaching at the Glendale, Arizona campus since 2012 as an adjunct, and came on as a regular part-time faculty member in 2016. He has taught in the Master of Arts in Biomedical Science, Master of Biomedical Sciences, Dental Medicine, Podiatric Medicine, Master of Public Health, and Osteopathic Medicine programs. Matthew Patrick Smith, PT, D.P.T., M.S.
Matt is a Physical Therapist and Clinical Faculty at The Physical Therapy Institute of Midwestern University. Matt completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine and has a Master of Science in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Daemen College. Matt completed his Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists with a focus on integration of methods and classification of patients to improve treatment

I graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Zimbabwe, Faculty of Veterinary Science in 1997. I went on to do a residency program with a focus on swine health at the same institution till 2001 when I enrolled for an MSc in Epidemiology and Animal Health Economics at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. In 2005 I completed a PhD program in veterinary epidemiology at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Canada. Upon completion of 2 post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Sydney (Australia) and the University of Alberta, School of Public Health in Canada, I joined
