As osteopathic medical students from the Class of 2022 arrived for orientation at Midwestern University’s two campuses in Downers Grove, Illinois, and Glendale, Arizona this summer, they received a brand-new stethoscope with the words “Excel in Leaving a Mark” engraved in the metal.
Nathan Nakken, D.O., M.S. is a clinical assistant professor of Osteopathic Community Medicine at Midwestern University in the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Rocky Vista University, in Parker, Colorado where he was selected for the prestigious Harold Ives Magoun, Jr. D.O., FAAO, FCA Memorial Undergraduate Osteopathic Principles ... , Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. Before joining the faculty at Midwestern University, Dr. Nakken taught Osteopathic Principles and Practices at Rocky Vista University
The inaugural class of osteopathic medical students began classes on September 30, 1996 and graduated on June 4, 2000.
