Fred Romano

Welcome to the College of Health Sciences in Downers Grove.

The College originated as the College of Allied Health Professions in 1992 with the inaugural Physician Assistant Program and we now house five fully-accredited programs with over 600 students.  Whether your goal is to be a physician assistant, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, or clinical psychologist you can be sure you will receive an education that prepares you to make meaningful contributions to your patients, community, and profession.

The College of Health Sciences is committed to providing outstanding teaching, an interprofessional environment, extensive clinical experiences, research opportunities, and a one-health focus. Whichever profession you pursue, Midwestern University will provide supportive faculty and the resources necessary to assist you in realizing your professional goals.  We will guide you to become a compassionate practitioner that will provide quality healthcare.

We appreciate the opportunity to educate the next generation of health care professionals. I encourage you to explore our website to learn more about the students, faculty, and staff of the College of Health Sciences.
