Midwestern University Statement

July 27, 2021

While we support informed discourse about all healthcare-related matters, we also embrace the life and health-sparing technology that vaccines have brought to both humans and animals. This view is supported by our curricular objectives in all applicable courses. Of relevance to the current pandemic, we have strongly recommended our students and employees all be immunized with the current COVID-19 vaccines. We have embraced COVID-19 vaccination to the effect that 86% of our campus is now vaccinated. Also of note, we have hosted a COVID-19 vaccination clinic we called Operation Hope, in which nearly 17,000 persons have been vaccinated. We still offer COVID-19 vaccines in our clinic and are strongly encouraging our new incoming students to be vaccinated before joining the Midwestern University community. Obviously, Midwestern University supports vaccination in general - and specifically, COVID-19 vaccines.
