Mission Statement Revision Process

Midwestern University is taking a routine look at the current language of our Mission and Vision Statement, a process guided by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). This is the type of periodic review most universities undertake every several years, focused on making sure our Mission and Vision Statement's wording reads clearly and reflects how we describe ourselves today; it is not a reconsideration of who we are or what we stand for as an institution. Our core values, identity, and institutional commitments remain entirely unchanged.

To meet HLC documentation standards, all meeting transcripts, announcements, and stakeholder comments will be cataloged on this page as part of our official record related to this process.
