Dental Students to Provide Free Care for Children During Give Kids a Smile Events

Midwestern University dental students will support children’s oral health through free Give Kids a Smile events in Arizona and Illinois.
Midwestern University dental students on both campuses will help bring healthy smiles to children this spring through the national Give Kids a Smile initiative, offering free dental care to children in Arizona and Illinois.
Glendale, Arizona: February 14, 2026
The Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine–Arizona will host a Give Kids a Smile event on Saturday, February 14, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Midwestern University Dental Institute on the Glendale Campus. Children ages 6 to 14 can receive free dental services, including cleanings, sealants, fillings, or extractions.
All services will be provided by appointment only and performed by dental students under the supervision of licensed faculty dentists. Appointments typically last one to two hours, and a legal guardian must be present throughout the visit. Families must arrive at their scheduled appointment time to ensure treatment.

Downers Grove, Illinois: March 21, 2026
On Saturday, March 21, the Midwestern University Dental Institute in Downers Grove will host its Give Kids a Smile event from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children ages 5 to 15 are eligible to receive free dental screenings and treatment, including cleanings, sealants, fillings, or extractions.
Appointments are required and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Monday, February 2, through Friday, March 20, by calling (630) 743-4500 during regular business hours. Appointments are expected to last one to two hours, and a parent or legal guardian must remain on site during the visit.
