Midwestern University Adds New Partnerships with Northern Illinois University and Ripon College

Midwestern University has expanded its network of admissions articulation agreements with colleges and universities across the country, creating additional pathways for qualified students pursuing graduate and professional education in the health sciences.

New Pathways to Healthcare Careers

The newest agreements include partnerships with Northern Illinois University and Ripon College, joining a growing network of colleges and universities that provide enhanced pathways to Midwestern University's healthcare programs.

Through these agreements, qualified students may be eligible for guaranteed interview opportunities for Midwestern University's professional programs or enhanced admissions pathways to select graduate programs, depending on the institution and program. Participating programs include osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, dental medicine, optometry, clinical psychology, nurse anesthesia, occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant studies, speech-language pathology, cardiovascular science, podiatric medicine, veterinary medicine, and graduate studies.

Eligibility and Program Criteria

Each agreement establishes academic and admissions benchmarks while maintaining Midwestern University's admissions standards. Requirements vary by institution and program and may include prerequisite coursework, minimum GPA requirements, standardized examinations where applicable, and demonstrated commitment to healthcare through clinical, service, or shadowing experiences.
