About the Career Fair
The Chicago College of Optometry’s Career Fair has two main goals:
- For our students to hear from guest speakers regarding practice management.
- For our students to have access to a job & networking fair that includes guests looking to promote their practice, company, and/or career opportunities.
Our college has approximately 240 optometry students, and the Career Fair will be mandatory for the third- year optometry students to attend (there will be an open invite for our first- and second-year students, as well as any fourth-year students nearby on rotations).
A tentative schedule is below:
3:00 - 3:15 p.m. Registration
3:15 - 4:00 p.m. Guest Speaker #1
4:00 - 4:30 p.m. Sponsor Exhibits & Job/Networking Fair (light hors d'oeuvres)
4:30 - 5:15 p.m. Guest Speaker #2
5:15 - 6:00 p.m. Sponsor Exhibits & Job/Networking Fair
The event will take place on the academic campus at 555 31st Street, Downers Grove, IL 60515. A classroom will be reserved for our guest speakers, but the job and networking fair will take place outside the classroom in an open space set up with tables.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Our display table fee is $200 per table. There is also a program book where sponsors can insert an advertisement:
- Full page ad (8" V x 5" H): $1,000
- Half-page ad (4" V x 5" H): $600
Proceeds from the Career Fair will benefit CCO's scholarship fund to attract and retain the best and brightest students who will become outstanding leaders of the profession.
