Brave Hearts: Nurturing Opportunities and Aspirations for Hope
Join us at MWU-AZ Glendale for an interactive and inclusive event designed for children with disabilities and their families.
This inter-professional event will incorporate a variety of student healthcare professionals from the University, including but not limited to: dental, podiatry, nurse anesthesiology, physician assistant, and speech language pathology.
Join us for:
- Dental, foot, fitness, oral/swallowing, and vital signs screenings
- Informational resource tables on medication management, motor skills, picky eating, mental health literacy, epilepsy/seizures, and more
- Outdoor field games and fitness activities with Special Olympics AZ

Location: Midwestern University, 19555 North 59th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85308 (Ramada next to the Interfaith Chapel)
- This event will be free to attend, but pre-registration is required to accommodate all participants.
- The event will be wheelchair accessible and accommodations will be provided upon request (advance notice for specific needs is suggested!)
