Translational Adapted Group (TAG; PI: Schea Fissel) Lab of the Speech-Language Pathology Program at Midwestern University’s College of Health Sciences, Glendale Campus, and the Glendale Library are hosting a series of one-hour, family-centered shared reading events at the Foothills Branch. This event is designed for families of children ages 2-4 years of age, but family members of all ages are welcome to attend.

Midwestern University Speech-Language Pathology students offer this event monthly in both English and Spanish with many opportunities for movement. Each event offers a craft for children to make and take home, shared interactive book reading, songs, and parent coaching, all designed to make literacy engaging and fun for young children.
