University Announces Dean of Students for Downers Grove Campus
Dr. Megan Dallianis promotion recognizes student-centered leadership
Midwestern University is pleased to announce the promotion of Megan Dallianis, Ed.D., to Dean of Students for the Downers Grove Campus. This appointment reflects the University’s continued growth and commitment to providing strong, dedicated leadership to support its academic and clinical missions.
Dr. Dallianis earned her Doctor of Education degree from Ferris State University and brings experience in student development and student success initiatives. Prior to her appointment, she served in roles including Interim Associate Provost of Student Success and Associate Dean of Interdisciplinary Studies at Harper College, where she developed a stratified communication and care system to provide proactive support based on student needs. Dr. Dallianis joined Midwestern University in 2024 as Associate Dean of Students. In her new role, she will oversee Student Services for the Downers Grove Campus.
“Since joining Midwestern University as the Associate Dean of Students, Dr. Dallianis has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our student body and institutional goals,” said Victoria Franks, M.Adm., Vice President of Strategic Execution and Chief of Staff at Midwestern University. “In this new capacity, she will provide dedicated leadership for the Downers Grove Campus, ensuring our students receive high-level support and that our Student Services operations remain aligned with the university's mission of excellence.”
As part of this transition, Dr. Dallianis will work closely with Shannon Sesterhenn, Ed.D., Dean of Students for the Glendale Campus, to ensure alignment across campuses and the University’s continued focus on serving students. This collaborative approach reflects Midwestern University’s broader commitment to preparing the next generation of healthcare leaders by fostering a supportive, student-centered environment.
