Student Acute Care (Sick) Clinic-AZ

The Glendale Campus provides students with a comprehensive health center on campus. The Sick Clinic is located in the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic.

Important: At this time, there are no walk-in hours.  Sick students can be seen by a primary care provider when they schedule an appointment.  The hours are 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday or Saturday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Schedule your appointment by calling 623-537-6000.

The Student Acute Care (Sick) Clinic is designed for students who develop acute medical issues only. There is no co-pay and visit expenses are not typically applied to their health insurance, unless there is lab work required.

Students who are on the Aetna Student Health Plan can also obtain their annual wellness physicals, including well-woman checks through the Physician Assistant that is assigned to the Student Acute (Sick) Clinic. The annual wellness physicals and well-woman checks are included in the Aetna Student Health Plan with no associated co-pay.

Students experiencing long-standing or routine medical issues can be seen as regular patients in the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic by the physicians, and their health insurance will be billed accordingly.
